A case of suspicious death of RJD leader has come to light in Gopalganj. The family members have termed it as murder. The entire case is said to be of Rajwahi village located near Mangalpur bridge in Jadopur police station area of Gopalganj district. The deceased has been identified as Sunil Yadav, 26-year-old son of Jhoolan Yadav, resident of Mashan Thana village of Jadopur police station area.
It is said that Sunil had gone towards Mangalpur on his bike. Meanwhile, he got into an argument with another bike rider near Rajwahi village on the border of Gopalganj and Bettiah district. The family members allege that an unknown bike rider strangled him to death. Meanwhile, the Dial 112 police team of Nautan police station of Bettiah district got information about this incident, after which the Dial 112 team reached the spot and immediately took the injured youth to Bettiah Sadar Hospital. But the doctors declared Sunil dead during the first aid itself.
At the same time, the family has also expressed their displeasure at the Dial 112 team. The family says that after getting the information, we reached Bettiah Hospital, where the doctor declared Sunil dead. After getting the information about the death, the policemen of Dial 112 started running away. We asked them to call an ambulance but they did not call it. According to the family, the role of the police also seems suspicious. At the same time, the family is accusing Sunil of being murdered by strangulation. The family said that there should be an impartial investigation of this. Also, the role of the policemen should also be investigated and action should be taken, because the role of the police seems suspicious to us.
Meanwhile, Youth RJD District President Diwakar Yadav has called it a political murder. He said that Sunil Kumar Yadav was the RJD Panchayat President of Mashan Thana Panchayat. He was murdered due to political reasons. Hence, we demand action against the culprits. Also, the collusion of the Dial 112 police personnel should also be investigated.
Meanwhile, in this case, SP Swarn Prabhat has termed the death as suspicious and assured an investigation. He said that the case seems suspicious. There is a possibility of an accident. Currently, an FIR has been registered against unknown persons on the application of the family members. The cause of death will be known after the postmortem report.
